Andalucia is a fantastic place :). For about 2 months, we were crisscrossing it either by train or bus. It worked well for commuting between towns and fairly sizable villages. But for driving along the coast and going deeper into the countryside we rented a car for couple days. It was a great adventure off the beaten path. I would highly recommend it – you would have tons of fun, just do not forget sunscreen :).
