Long before I became interested in street art, we traveled across Costa Rica. As it happened, among many photos we took on that trip there were 2 with murals from San Jose and San Ramon. Besides geographical location, I do not have any other information about them and in no way they truly represent the street art scene of Costa Rica. However, if, by any chance, you know who created them would you drop me a line, please? It would be great to know the artist(s).
Some awesome information about Costa Rica street art:
- Street Art Costa Rica – Facebook page – great photos and, arguably, the best representation of Costa Rica’s street art on the web
- About De Mi Barrio A Tu Barrio/Urban Heartbeat Project and Jim Avignon’s personal observations and experiences – from BrooklynStreetArt.com – the German artist Jim Avignon, in collaboration with the Goethe Institut Mexico, conducted a five-week trip through Central America and the Caribbean. Working with local urban artists transformed gray walls into works of art. He spent 7 days in San Jose, Costa Rica.
