Without doubts, Thailand would have a special place in my heart forever. It was the country where we started our slow travel around the world. Half a year in Chiang Mai was a humbling and educating experience. Northern Thailand became our home that was difficult to leave. Smiling people, amazing culture, fantastic cuisine – in other words, what else do you need? In contrast, Southern Thailand came up as an exotic avalanche of colors, a cornucopia of pleasures and, if you determined enough and not afraid to move, an undisturbed paradise. Thus, we come back as often as we can.
From a practical point, we created a directory of resources that immensely helped us navigate day-to-day chores in Chiang Mai and elsewhere in the country. We put them online, so you can use it too. From visas to doctors; from co-working spaces to where to rent a motorbike, there is plenty of information there.
