Pacific Northwest is quickly succumbing to the third season of the year. Sun is gone, temperature is going down, and there is this chilly gray dumpiness in the air. This morning was no exception: even though the sun was supposed to appear later (it never did), the morning was dull and quite wet. Weather conditions were not something to write home about, but colorful leaves and berries brightened the picture.
Moisture in the air adorned usually invisible spiders’ webs with sparkly water drops creating magical decorations.
Spiders truly reigned the morning. A little bit later we spotted a relatively large spider being busy with doing “household cleaning”: removing a dry leaf from its web.
Voilà, the web is ready to meet unfortunate guests!
