On a gray misty day, when even dogs would not voluntarily venture outside, Seattle Aquarium’s inhabitants reigned in a rainbow of colors.
I admired these little creatures from purely aesthetic point: their vivid colors, patterns and swirls of their skin, a breathtaking dancing show of their tireless movements punctuated by ever-changing combination of highlights and shadows. For better or worse, I had no desire to partake in the expected educational side of visiting any aquarium. I may never know Latin names of these guys or their native habitats, but for an hour they let me witness their magic.
